How much does a new boiler installation cost?
From £1,800 +VAT for a typical combi boiler replacement. Up to £3,500+ for system conversions, premium boilers, or installations with significant pipework or system alteration needs. Price varies with boiler type, output, complexity, and the condition of your existing system. We always quote the exact price before any work begins.
Which boilers do you install?
All major UK brands — Vaillant, Worcester Bosch, Baxi, Ideal, Viessmann, Potterton, Glow-worm, Main, Alpha, Ferroli. Combi, system, and conventional. We can advise on the best fit for your home, system, and budget.
How long does installation take?
A straightforward combi-for-combi swap typically takes 1 day. A system conversion (e.g. conventional to combi, or relocating the boiler) can take 2-3 days. We confirm the expected duration in the quote.
What warranty comes with a new boiler?
Most new boilers come with a 7-10 year manufacturer warranty (varies by brand and model) provided they are professionally installed by a Gas Safe registered engineer and serviced annually. We provide the Gas Safe Building Regulations Compliance Certificate needed to register the warranty.
Do you remove the old boiler?
Yes — removal, safe disposal, and system power flush (if needed) are included in our installation quote. You get the old boiler taken away and the new one commissioned and tested.
Are you Gas Safe registered?
Yes. All gas boiler installations are carried out by Gas Safe registered engineers. We provide the Gas Safe Building Regulations Compliance Certificate required for building regs and warranty registration.
Do you install electric or oil boilers?
Yes — electric boiler installation £1,500-£3,000 +VAT, oil boiler installation £2,500-£5,000+ +VAT. Both have their own dedicated pages with more detail.
Could the final price be more than the quoted range?
Boiler installation pricing is subject to site conditions — see the asterisk on the price. Pricing depends on the condition of the existing system. Pipework upgrades, system alterations, or safety improvements are quoted separately before proceeding. We always clearly explain any additional work, quote it separately, and get your approval before starting. No work exceeding the original budget is undertaken without your consent.
