Emergency Boiler Repair

Gas Safe engineer on site within 2 hours. Phones answered immediately, usually by an engineer. We are open seven days a week for genuine emergencies such as no heating, no hot water, gas leaks and boiler lockouts: Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturday 7am to 2pm and Sunday 7am to 1pm.

Most boiler repairs fall between £120 and £450 plus VAT. That is a typical range, not a fixed total or a cap. Diagnosis is charged at our labour rate, and the final price depends on the fault and the parts needed. We explain any parts or additional work and agree the price with you before we go ahead.

No heating in cold weather, no hot water, a gas smell, water leaking from the boiler, a boiler that has locked out with a fault code you cannot resolve, or a carbon monoxide alarm triggering. If in doubt, call us — phones answered immediately, usually by an engineer.

Turn off the gas at the meter if safe to do so, open windows, do not use electrical switches or open flames, leave the property, and call the National Gas Emergency Service on 0800 111 999 before calling us. Once the supply is safe, we can diagnose and repair the boiler fault.

We cover our standard service area from Watford across Hertfordshire and North London (Tier 1 areas listed below). Response may be slower in edge-of-area locations; we will give you a realistic arrival window when you call.

No separate call-out fee. We don't add a travel or attendance surcharge. Time spent inspecting, testing and diagnosing the fault is chargeable at our labour rate (minimum one hour). We quote a fixed price for any further repair work before any of it starts, and you're under no obligation to approve additional repairs.

1-year parts guarantee on everything we fit, same as our standard service. Workmanship backed by our standards — if the repair does not resolve the fault, we return and fix it.

For most emergency callouts the diagnosis is straightforward and the price we quote is the price you pay. If the initial fault reveals a second underlying problem (e.g. a failed flue sensor caused by a long-term blockage), we explain it, quote any additional work separately, and only proceed with your approval.
