Plumber on site within 2 hours. Phones answered immediately, usually by an engineer. Open seven days a week for genuine emergencies such as burst pipes, major leaks, no water, overflowing toilets and blocked drains: Monday to Friday 7am to 7pm, Saturday 7am to 2pm and Sunday 7am to 1pm.

Emergency plumbing is £120 to £400 +VAT. We quote the fixed price before any work begins. Our general plumbing labour rate is £89.50 to £148.50 per hour +VAT.

Burst pipes, major water leaks, no running water, overflowing toilets or drains, frozen pipes in winter, boiler-related water leaks, and sewage backing up. If in doubt call us: we can often diagnose over the phone whether you need us urgently or can wait for a booked appointment.

For a burst pipe or major leak: turn off the water at the main stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink or in the utility/meter cupboard), turn off the boiler/heating, open cold taps to drain the system, and protect anything valuable from water. Photograph the damage for your insurance.

Yes — blocked toilets, blocked sinks, and slow-draining wastes. For main sewer blockages outside the property, you may need your water company (contact details depend on your supplier). We can diagnose over the phone.

No separate call-out fee. We don't add a travel or attendance surcharge. Time spent inspecting, testing and diagnosing the fault is chargeable at our labour rate (minimum one hour). We quote a fixed price for any further repair work before any of it starts, and you're under no obligation to approve additional repairs.

1-year parts guarantee on everything we fit. Workmanship backed by our standards — if a repair does not resolve the fault, we return.

For most emergency callouts the diagnosis is straightforward and the price we quote is the price you pay. If the initial issue reveals a larger problem (e.g. hidden pipework damage or an ongoing leak requiring replacement rather than repair), we explain it, quote any additional work separately, and only proceed with your approval.
