Standard-hours emergency plumbing £120 to £400 +VAT. Out-of-hours rates are higher. We quote the fixed price before any work begins. Our general plumbing labour rate is £89 to £168.50 per hour +VAT.

For a burst pipe or major leak: turn off the water at the main stopcock (usually under the kitchen sink or in the utility/meter cupboard), turn off the boiler/heating, open cold taps to drain the system, and protect anything valuable from water. Photograph the damage for your insurance.

Yes — blocked toilets, blocked sinks, and slow-draining wastes. For main sewer blockages outside the property, you may need your water company (contact details depend on your supplier). We can diagnose over the phone.

For most emergency callouts the diagnosis is straightforward and the price we quote is the price you pay. If the initial issue reveals a larger problem (e.g. hidden pipework damage or an ongoing leak requiring replacement rather than repair), we explain it, quote any additional work separately, and only proceed with your approval.
